Name change
Hey guys, I have two accounts and my Ranger is on my second account and I don't play on that account all that much.
I want to make a Ranger on my primary account but want to use the same name as my old Ranger. If I get a name change, can I use my the old name for the new Ranger? Does it work and if so, does it still need the hour or two just like when you delete a character and then create another with the same name? Thanks |

Yes you can use it on your new one. Not sure about 1 hour, but it's probably in effect.
Imagine the problems if people would secretly reserve names through name changing if they were technically still there. |

You can use the same name if it is still available when you create the new character. Don't forget that someone else might grab it.

The above implies that your character name will be reserved for the same account.
As far GW is concerned, your second account could be anyone's account, so you'll have to wait 24 hours, and take the chance that no one else takes that name at that time. |
